At one point in life, one stops to question what is new, but what lasts. For me, at about 22 years old I started to check the material of clothes before buying, researching fabrics, cuts and seams. I came to a realization that drape, weight, finish start doing the work that patterns and logos usually do.

When the outfit looks simple, the cost is not in decoration. The cost is in tailoring, material, and the kind of pieces you can wear repeatedly without them losing their shape or their meaning.

A great piece of jewelry should never feel fussy, it should slip into your day, elevate your look, and still feel like you. In a world overflowing with ultra-fast fashion and fleeting trends, what does it really mean to wear meaningful jewelry?

Sentimental jewelry is the best jewelry

I fell in love with jewelry early. Growing up with a mother who is a dance choreographer, I was surrounded by extravagant dance costumes that are often completed with some kind of ´jewels´. For the convenience of performing onstage, these accessories are usually larger-than-life and lightweight. I remember my mom would spend hours late into the night DIY-ing some of these pieces, and I was always around her playing with these colorful crystals.

When my grandmother passed away, I was sifting through contents of her dressing table, and happened upon her pearls, jade, gold and silver pieces. I remember being like “Woah..”. As a child, you understand when things are special.

These are memories that explain how I got obsessed with jewelry.

Invest where you can

In the age of ultra-fast fashion and overconsumption, savvy shoppers spend on pieces they know they will wear for years to come – especially when it comes to accessories. Jewelry, of course, lends itself perfectly to this approach. Longevity is so important these days. When you decide to invest in a beautiful piece, you do it because it’s for life.

Beyond Trend: Style is Personal

Trends will come and go. But personal style? That's forever.

Jewelry is deeply tactile. The weight of a chain around your neck, the way a ring sits on your finger, the soft jingle of stacked bangles – they all create a sensory connection to identity.

You don't need a stylist to help you find your look. You already know what feels right on you. The pieces that bring you joy, the metal that flatters your skin tone, the styles that make you feel bold, confident, calm or collected – that's your guide.
